Product Content Author
This growing company is looking to add an experienced content author/writer to their established Product Marketing team.
You will be working with an established Product Marketing function who have many years between them so this will give you a real chance to learn and develop from experienced people in the business.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Product Content Author to join our team. This role focuses on writing and publishing engaging, accurate, and SEO-optimised content for a wide range of Tools and Maintenance products. Your work will directly support our online product detail pages (PDPs), helping customers make confident and informed purchase decisions.

Write, edit, and publish high-quality product content for new Tools & Maintenance products, and maintain the quality and accuracy of existing product write-ups for the CPC website.Ensure all product detail pages are informative, accurate, and aligned with brand tone and SEO best practices.Collaborate with suppliers to source key product specifications, descriptions, datasheets, images, video, and supporting information that enhance the customer experience.Optimise product titles and content for internal and external search engines.Own the content creation process for new product introductions (NPIs) within the category.Regularly review and update existing product pages to maintain content freshness and accuracy.Apply keyword research and SEO techniques to improve organic visibility and conversion performance.Stay up to date with changes and developments to search engine algorithms.Work closely with marketing, product, photography, and other key stakeholders to ensure consistency and content alignment across platforms.What about you?
To be successful in this role, you should ideally have experience in a content writing or marketing role that requires the use of MS office, organisational skills and an eye for detail.
It is essential that you are an enthusiastic, friendly, and organised individual with excellent oral and written communication.
Exceptional written English and a strong command of grammar and tone.Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to content accuracy.A genuine interest in DIY, tools, and maintenance products - experience in the category is a plus.Proven ability to write for digital audiences, ideally with experience in eCommerce or online product content.Knowledge of SEO principles, including keyword usage and optimisation.Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple product updates and deadlines.Comfortable sourcing technical product information and translating it into accessible, customer-friendly content.Why join us?
