**Your role and responsibilities**
Job Summary: The Procurement Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the entire procurement process from requisition to payment.
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
* Monitor and analyze procurement activities to identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
* Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
* Prepare and present procurement reports to management.
* Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to procurement activities.
* Implement and maintain procurement systems and tools.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
* Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex situations.
* Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Experience in managing end-to-end procurement operations.
* Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
* Familiarity with ERP systems.
* Experience in a similar industry or sector.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
