Location: This position reports to the Logistics Manager and is part of the Logistics Team at Abcam located in Thebarton, Adelaide, South Australia and will be an on-site role.    

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Drive purchasing process for the procurement of laboratory and general consumables, equipment and service quotes.

Manage Goods inwards and receiving processes, including batch numbering, maintaining documentation, maintain Inventor Management and databases

Assist with Workplace and EHS activities, manufacturing and general laboratory activities as required.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

Ability to lift, move or carry laboratory stock and equipment, any other physical requirements

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Several years of experience in Procurement is highly desirable, must have excellent computer skills, especially advanced Excel skills

Degree in relevant field of Life Science with previous experience in a laboratory environment.

Excellent written, oral communication skills, sound organisational and negotiation skills, able to work independently, and high level of attention to detail.

The salary range for this role is AUD $73,000 – $78,000 plus superannuation. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
