Job Responsibilities:
Support processes and other activities consistent with departmental expectations and goals.
Initiate machine processes, make adjustments within process tolerances and recommend any changes for improved efficiencies.
Responsible for all tool changes and setup of auxiliary equipment.
Responsible for making the proper connections to the tools (water, hydraulic, vacuum and electrical).
Assist with setting up and loading material into the slitter machine.
Must be able to troubleshoot the compression presses and robots.
Must assist with troubleshooting assembly equipment.
Continually monitor all processes related to compression molding.
Analyze and resolve any process problems. Resolve any product non-conformity issues that may arise.
Assist in the set-up and start-up of new tools and materials for trial.
Conform to the implementation of continuous process improvement in the molding department.
Must obtain and maintain a forklift certification.
Who we are looking for:Three years minimum molding experience required.
Must have experience processing plastics and setting tools.
Knowledge of robot programming and troubleshooting a must.
Your preferred qualifications:Associate’s degree in a technical field of study preferred.
