Connection Systems team is seeking an Process Engineer F4. This position is responsible for new projects development for North American operations within the Manufacturing Engineering Team. To improve and develop manufacturing systems that meet safety and technical capabilities with high technology offering to the customer the best competitive option from a process Engineering point of view.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all manufacturing engineering activities related to the assigned manufacturing areas/plants.Development and design of new manufacturing systemsParticipation in design review meetings for new productsSupport continuous improvement of quality, OE, scrap, design, etc, on current assembly processes installed in NA plants.Accountable for the successful launch of new PNs / Tools into the manufacturing NA plants.Continuous seeking for addition of new technology.Continuous development of technical capacities among suppliers and team members.Ensure safety and operational manufacturing systems design.Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Industrial or Systems Engineering3+ years’ experience in the automotive industry85% English (written and verbal)AIAG Core ToolsBasic knowledge in SAP, Microsoft OfficePreferred Qualifications:
Familiar in component manufacturing processes (Assembly, Plastic Injection Molding, etc.)Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organizationAbility to communicate complex ideas effectively in English, both verbally and in writingStrong results-orientation and execution characteristicsAbility to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independentlyExperience in assembly development process (concept design, estimate, quote, insource, startup)Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering or maintenance areas.Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn continuously, clearly establish expectations and hold others accountable for achieving results, as well as, developing and executing strategic plans.Strong results-orientation and execution characteristicsAbility to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently.Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment as well.Why join us?
