Participation in “Bid Clarification Meetings” for all Mechanical, Electrical & Instrument Packages to expedite vendor with respective operations, maintenance & material handlingVendor GAD review and expedite material handling requirementsLiaise with Operations team to meet the operations and maintainability requirementsLiaise with all inter disciplines to avoid design changes during “Engineering Design Maturity”Preparation of Material Handling LayoutsPreparation of Material Handling Report & PhilosophyPreparation of Handling Simulations for All Critical Mechanical Packages & Equipment with PDMS / E3D/S3DPreparation of Data sheets, TBC, TBE & VDR for Material Handling Equipment’sIntegration of handling methods in design, establish selection, sizing, quantity, and spec for MH EquipmentPreparation of Valve Matrix & Valve Handling Study ReportMonorail & Transfer Device Feasibility StudyPad-Eye / Beam Clamp / Lay-down & Hatch location StudyComply and ensure Human Factor Ergonomics EngineeringFacilitate internal / external model review’s and responsible to address the maintenance and material handling queriesFacilitate HFE Design verification workshop and coordinate multidiscipline design modification during HFE close-out activityPiping / MH Close-out Report Preparation

Job Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 12 years of experienceStrong technical, planning, communication, presentation and reporting skillsConversant with PDMS,E3D and S3D softwaresAware of API Standards and Guidelines for Mechanical Handling EquipmentDesign Exposure to Offshore Platforms/FPSO/FLNGAwareness to Offshore Safety Standards related to Mechanical Handling EquipmentPossess Skills to work closely with Piping Designers, Piping, Structural and Layout Teams
