The MileagePlus Strategic Partnerships team has refined its business strategy to prioritize larger, integrated deals under the MileagePlus umbrella, necessitating the onboarding and integration of complex partnerships across various business units to foster growth and scalability. In this dynamic context, the Principal - Technical Account Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the successful deployment of products and services to our client base. This role will lead the planning and execution of implementation projects, ensuring collaboration with cross-functional teams, effective resource allocation, and adherence to project milestones, all within the allocated timeframes and budgets.
Manage end-to-end implementation projects including timelines, deliverables and resource coordination.Lead and translate high-level business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications and user stories.Liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery and product implementation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, QA, and customer success to align project goals.Utilize project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) to drive project execution and track progress.Manage and maintain project documentation, including scope, status reports, risk assessments and change management records.Support system configuration, testing, and deployment activities, ensuring solutions meet quality and functional expectations.Identify process gaps or technical limitations and work with stakeholders to develop scalable solutions.Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring messaging to stakeholder needs.Monitor post-implementation performance and facilitate feedback loops for continuous improvement.NOTE: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement including approximately 50% of the time spent onsite at our Chicago office location and 50% remotely.
