The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation, IoT, and advanced manufacturing technologies, with a proven track record in pre-sales activities and envisioning I4.0solutions. **Key Responsibilities** Client Engagement and Requirement Analysis: Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements. Conduct thorough requirement analysis to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs. **Solution Design and Presentation:** Develop and present customized Industry 4.0 solutions, showcasing the technical capabilities and benefits of our products. Prepare detailed proposals and technical documentation to support sales activities. **Technical Support and Demonstrations:** Provide technical support during the sales process, including conducting product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and answering technical queries from clients. Collaboration with Sales and Engineering Teams: Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies for winning new business. Skills 16+ years of experience in designing solutions for shopfloor operations with bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Expertise in OT technologies such as PLC, Unified Namespace, IT/OT integration, Cloud, and AI technologies. Strong knowledge in at least one of the following: Auto, Discrete Manufacturing, Pharma, Consumer Goods, with experience in Operations, Maintenance, and Quality value streams. Experienced in at least one of manufacturing Operation applications like MES, EAM, LIMS etc. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and travel to site location based on the need Nice to have Experience with Omron technology or any Industrial automation OEMs like ABB, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Siemens, GE, AB **Compensation:** - $1400,000 to $190,000 +/- and this position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
