Portfolio Manager – Structured Portfolio Manager
The Portfolio Manager plays a crucial role in optimizing Aon’s product offerings through effective governance, market analysis, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement. The Portfolio Manager serves as a key advocate for Aon’s Structured Portfolio Solution (SPS) suites, ensuring alignment with market trends, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. This individual will act as the bridge between business, technical teams, and carriers to ensure that products remain competitive, compliant, and profitable.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both from home and from our Sydney office.

What the day will look like
As the Portfolio Manager for the suite of Structured Portfolio Solutions, you will provide insights on portfolio performance and adherence to GTMS. As part of this you will have both an internal and external focus as you understand the client, brokers and carrier needs and issues.
Key responsibilities include:
+ Analyse competitive remuneration structures (e.g. commission rates) and product/platform positioning
+ Assess and refine product offerings across different channels and their revenue implications
+ Maintain oversight of all products in the SPS suites, commissions, and market alignment to ensure customer value and competitiveness
+ Conduct quarterly meetings with carriers (in the GTMS) to assess performance, quote-to-bind ratios, and market appetite, gathering insights for continuous improvement
+ Review and maintain the carrier panel within GTMS, ensuring product offerings and pricing remain competitive
+ Advocate, educate, and promote Aon products within the Structured Portfolio Solution Suite and how they align with the GTMS, reducing E&O risk and driving contractual certainty for clients
+ Engage with segments and stakeholders to gather insights on product competitiveness, identify leakage points, and develop solutions
+ Provide feedback to platform and technical teams to ensure product and platform development aligns with internal and external stakeholder needs
