We are looking for a seasoned Portfolio Manager to lead our Global Business Solutions Portfolio team (GBS), who is supporting Global Travel Retail (GTR) operations in Istanbul.
As a Portfolio Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape the long-term strategies of our PMI portfolio within Multi-category driven business of our Global Travel Retail Organization and support the deployment of consumer-centric products that will cement our leading position across the world of Global Travel Retail. So, you will be a part of support hub based in Türkiye.
Position Responsibilities
Marketing Manager will manage our GBS Portfolio team who collaborate with GTR Portfolio teams and are responsible for the end-to-end process of the portfolio projects for respective PMI Product Categories including Smoke Free Products and Combustible Cigarettes.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the GBS Marketing Team:
Responsible for enabling the success by fostering a well-functioning, integrated working environment, managing the team that handles various portfolio projects and contributes the strategic discussions. This involves guiding the team through the entire marketing process for specific projects and ensuring alignment with the business units or markets they collaborate with. Cultivate a high-performing team culture and supports the professional development of team members.
Project & Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders, managing projects to align efforts with the company’s objectives and driving improvements. Possess high-level project and stakeholder management skills to coordinate efforts and improve business outcomes. Track progress against OB & objectives and leading initiatives to develop and improve the Marketing team’s performance.
Process Optimization:
Continuously improve ways of working, initiate development projects, and assess and enhance processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the marketing department and cross-team in GBS Global Travel Retail.
Requirements:
• Hold a university degree
• Strong expertise in Marketing, with a comprehensive understanding of its various aspects.
• 7+ years of experience in Marketing, ideally in global companies; FMCG background is a plus
• 2+ years of people management experience with strong team development skills
• Excellent planning and project management skills, including experience in managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a data-driven approach to critical and strategic thinking
• Prior experience in a global work environment is an advantage.
• Exceptional collaboration, stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent command of English (both verbal & written)
