The role of a Material Planner is to verify that production line delivery aligns with minimum stock targets and logistics costs.
The main missions of the role are:
o Build up the Procurement Program by splitting up and levelling pieces procurements
o Follow up the Procurement Program realisation by managing alert systems and follow the unloading, receipt and the transportation of pieces
o Follow up the delivery performance of suppliers (supplier Misdeliveries Per Million) and the service of logistics partners and propose improvement action plans
o Check if the capacity defined by the PIC (Sales and Production Plan) can be supported by suppliers and set up corrective actions when necessary
o Achieve the transportation program on a monthly basis, and the transportation scheme half-yearly
o Direct packaging management
o Ensure that logistics conventions compliance with purchasing objectives and support conditions set by supplier for procurement and packaging, and by logistics partners for transport and service
Minimum education level: Degree in Engineering, Management (preferably) or similar
Experience :
o Experience in production in an industrial environment
