Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesWe are seeking a HR Manager to support our leadership team and drive the implementation of key HR initiatives at our Chattanooga site. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with thick skin, strong business acumen, and an ability to manage a wide range of HR-related functions in a dynamic, industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with site management to align HR strategy with business objectives.
Oversee efficient staffing, recruitment, onboarding, training, and career development processes at the site level.
Manage payroll and administration processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, fostering a safe working environment for all employees.
Handle industrial relations, including maintaining strong communication with employee representatives.
Implement and enforce corporate HR policies and processes at the site, ensuring effective employee engagement and empowerment.
Provide regular HR reports to the division and offer strategic insights to drive improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an HR role within an industrial environment.
Deep understanding of employment law and HR systems.
Strong familiarity with payroll systems and HR information management.
Results-driven, with the ability to work autonomously and meet business targets.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
