How you will contribute
As a People Lead, you will partner our Regional People Services Lead Europe and his leadership team on the People agenda across the Europe People Services organization. The People Services team comprises of ~500 colleagues across our Europe countries – in our shared services center in Romania and onshore People Services colleagues based in our Mondelez business unit locations across Europe countries. As People Lead you will form part of Europe People services leadership team in addition to being a member of the Global MDS People Lead Team.
You will:
Build a fit for purpose organization that delivers value and enables our People Services growth ambition; building an effective operating model, unlocking future capabilities and driving optimum ways of working, to ensure a fit for purpose, high performance organizationEmpowered People Services culture that leads collaboratively and productively, and as one People Team, elevating senior leadership teams and next level teams to unlock high-performing teams across the organizationPartner with the Global People Lead on the definition and execution of global and local policy and change initiatives and understand the impacts of the changes plannedPartner with function leads and middle managers to collaborate on creating and delivering the functional priorities and plan, providing strategic guidanceLeverage data analytics in driving business solutions and decisions and support with the delivery of operational processes and leverage insights and data and translate into actionable plans to impact the bottom line and enable business strategy. Inform and update People Services of any local, legal and regulatory changes in market.Design and implement robust integrated talent strategies, enabling a deep & rich pipeline talent, with focused and targeted development to build internal sufficiency in the organization. Advise on talent management practices within related to workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy planning, leadership development, employee development, career and succession planning and talent mobility,Manage works council relations and provide guidance to HR to ensure successful implementation of labor policies and compliance with laws and agreementsBuild end-to-end capabilities that accelerate consumer-centric growth and operational excellencePartner closely with the People Financial Planning team, to ensure effective cost managementAs part of the People team for MDS, participate in MDS People team meetings where we contribute to our shared agenda and common approaches on people topics and sharing best practices. You may also lead some shared projects on behalf of the function globally.What you will bring

Job specific requirements:
Ideally prior experience working of 10 years across geographies as part of a virtual teamPreferred 3-4 years experience within the context of a shared service centerCourageous to challenge the status quo and keen to drive continuous improvement with the influencing skills to enable thisFlexibility required to work across time zones and attend select meetings outside standard working day (as part of a global team we work to minimize this inconvenience but can not fully avoid it for a team across 14 time zones)Travel requirements: limited travel may be required within Europe across markets, typically twice per year / depending on business requirements during transition phases
