If so, lets talk. **Your role and responsibilities** As a Oracle Database Admin, you will be placed at customer location and expected to have experience in administering, monitoring and troubleshooting databases to support customer’s mission critical applications. You will need to visit the client’s offices / data center’s on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role. You will have to demonstrate expertise in Oracle application, patching, upgrades and tuning activities. You will be involved in troubleshooting Oracle incident tickets. You are expected to perform analysis on system operation issues and make remediation recommendations with little or minimum support from superiors. Responsibilities: · Day to day Database administration and Production Support. · Use problem and change management tools. · Support mission critical databases for customer, where any unscheduled downtime will result in major business loss. · Manage incidents at Customer account. · Perform Storage Space management · Database Security Administration · Maintain Configuration details · Proactive system monitoring and support · Level 2 and Level 3 Ticket resolution · Migrating Oracle ERP workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure · To manage Oracle applications environments · Work with clients on cloud benefit assessments **Required technical and professional expertise** * 6 Years Plus in Oracle Database administration Oracle database architecture and administration * Overall industry experience of 8+ years * Experience in managing Oracle databases on Unix flavours. * Installation, implementation, upgrading, performance, security, patching and monitoring of Oracle Database * Willingness to work in nights shifts or support 24 x 7 Coverage as per the business needs. * Oracle Apps DBA (EBS), Unix/Linux/AIX, General Cloning, Patching, Backup Skills & Performance Tuning Knowledge, must have experience in Oracle Apps DBA (EBusiness Suite versions like R12.1 and R12.2) as a primary skill. * Must have Knowledge of configuration, administrating, monitoring, troubleshooting, cloning, Patching in Oracle Apps 12.2 * Diploma or Graduation degree in Computers or equivalent. **Preferred technical and professional experience** Preferred Skills: * Having completed Oracle DBA certification. * You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies. * Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work. * Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management. * Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.
