A day in the life.

This role will interface with McGriff offices across our national footprint and those local office colleagues to then facilitate the preparation of spend requests and PO establishment in our new parent iProc system through utilization of smart sheets as well as facilitate payment of invoices against established POs by submitting invoices for payment to a parent company team. In this contract support role, there will be very close alignment with this Vendor Management team and room for additional learning around the contract establishment and monitoring process as well.

Accounts Payable experience, 1-3 years of experience preferredExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, including macros and pivot tables.  Must learn applicable custom software applications.Proactive / Self-starter (takes initiative)Ability to research/resolve issues independentlyExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenTeam playerMust be detailed oriented and organizedMust be able to effectively multi-task and handle interruptions in work flowMust possess strong time management skills, ability to prioritize and work with a sense of urgency at all timesKnowledge of and/or appetite for contractual agreementsCritical thinking skills that will aid you in your journey to analyze and digest dense material
