WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Maintain appropriate atmosphere (room temperature, cleanliness, line of sight, table maintenance, room capacity)Conduct operations with a Guest First mindsetEnsure all recap forms are completed for OM to submitPerform opening, ongoing and closing dutiesParticipate in daily pre-shift with an upbeat and motivational mannerLog nightly night of show reports and staff/guest incident reports.Conduct safety, cleaning and maintenance walk-through – interior and exterior of buildingCheck ticket counts with box office before shift beginsCheck email and mailbox for current informationFill out and distribute NOS event sheetsFacilitate proper inter-departmental communication and organizationBe on radio at time of clock in and assist with  radio communicationMake sure all staff are present on time, clock in, sign in and are in uniform. Informing OM if anyone is not following check in instructions.Check ADA and ensure proper seats are placed. Check with box office for any pre purchased seats. Assist with seating ADA throughout the evening.Assist with VIP and any needs they may have throughout the evening.Turn on Tvs and menus.Distribute NOS Wristbands and make sure they are in proper bundlesSell and check in bag checkAssist OM with M&G needs

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

 

Required:

(State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement)/ Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or EquivalentHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work late hoursFlexible schedule3 years supervisory experience in high volume restaurant/music hall environmentKnowledge of Microsoft Office products and Point of Sales system, preferably MICROSKnowledge of state, federal and local liquor laws and health code regulationsAbility to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded mannerTolerance of all cultures, music and art formsSkilled in decision making, leadership, guest relations, interpersonal communications, organization, team building, time management, and staff managementAbility to motivate staff, problem solve, lead, delegate, follow up, deal with volatile situations with tact and confidence

 

Preferred:

At least 2 years experience with a national restaurant chainExperience in a live music environmentCollege diploma in related field

 

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressfulPosition requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feetMust be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques

The expected compensation for this position is:

$17.60 USD - $22.00 USD Hourly

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
