Responsibilities Work as part of a DevOps team analyzing, developing, testing, and supporting Big Data applications. Ensure project goals are achieved and aligned with business objectives. Collaborate closely with Scrum team and program team to test, develop, refine, and implement quality software in production via standard Agile methodologies. Design, code, and test iteratively to support complex big data applications deployed on Cloud Infrastructure (AWS). Develop and maintain automated unit and functional test cases, and modular automation scripts for integration with CICD process. Provide strong analytical and technical skills for troubleshooting and problem resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align development objectives with broader business goals. Support product owner in defining future stories and tech lead in defining technical requirements for new initiatives. Promote best practices with peer code reviews and ownership for continuous incremental delivery. Build platform reusable code and components for multiple project teams. Desired Skills

Domain Expertise

4-6 years of hands-on software development with a bachelors degree in computer science or engineering. Strong cloud implementation expertise in cloud architecture. Good knowledge of storage, network, compute services, including multi-zone and region-based designs. Provide solutions utilizing best practices for resilience, scalability, cloud optimization, and security.

Technical Skills

Extensive programming experience with Java/Scala, Python, and strong SQL programming. Experience in big data processing using Spark and job orchestration tools like Apache Airflow. Knowledge of Unix/Linux OS, shell scripting, Python, JSON, YAML. Agile scrum experience in application development. Cloud technologies experience with EC2, EKS, S3 storage, Lambda, Relational Database Service, etc. Familiarity with CI/CD processes, testing frameworks, and tools like Jenkins, jUnit, Terraform, etc. AWS Certification is a plus.
