We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team in London. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' facilities and equipment.
**Job Summary:**
We're looking for a talented and versatile Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on a wide range of plant, equipment, and building services. If you have a strong background in manufacturing maintenance, electrical and mechanical competences, and a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Identify and manage risks associated with equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, and improving equipment performance
+ Conduct fault-finding on all types of machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
+ Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department, working on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes
+ Write and follow risk assessments and method statements, ensuring a safe and accurate working environment
+ Use mobile devices to accurately project and complete works from the CAFM maintenance system
+ Liaise with onsite site services to manage building services-related issues
+ Deputise for the shift leader during annual leave or sickness
+ Work overtime as required, including nights and weekends
**Requirements:**
+ Recognised or time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering
+ Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance experience
+ Electrical competences to a minimum of City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition
+ Mechanical competences to an acceptable standard to City and Guild's Mechanical
+ Good multi-skilled ability, with experience working on 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters
+ Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
+ Ability to fault-find and diagnose PLC systems
+ NVQ qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and Mechanical
+ Ability to supervise contractors and write risk and method statements
**Desirable:**
+ Working at height qualification
+ IPAF certification
+ AP qualifications
+ Experience of heavy engineering
