We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to lead the charge in developing high-impact, mobile-first solutions that power the fieldwork of those who keep our communities running. In this role, you'll be a key member of our agile development team—bringing deep expertise in cross-platform mobile development (especially React Native) to architect, build, and deliver scalable, secure, and intuitive mobile applications. You’ll help shape the mobile strategy for a product suite used in high-stakes environments, where performance and reliability are non-negotiable. What you'll do + Mobile Development Leadership: Drive the development of high-quality React Native apps with a focus on performance, security, scalability, and mobile-first best practices. + Quality & Testing: Uphold coding standards through testing, code reviews, and a focus on maintainability and reliability. + Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. Mentor junior team members. + Agile Execution: Contribute to Agile ceremonies, take ownership of deliverables, and proactively solve technical challenges. + Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance development practices, adopt emerging tech, and improve team efficiency. + Production Support: Lead troubleshooting and resolution of critical production issues, including on-call support when necessary. + Clear Communication: Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and align solutions with business needs. What you bring + 5+ years of experience in full-stack enterprise software development (UI, backend, APIs, databases). + Proven track record of designing and delivering robust, scalable, and high-performance systems. + + Solid understanding of software engineering principles and architectural design patterns. + Hands-on experience with secure coding practices and testing methodologies. + Skilled in delivering cloud-based, multi-tenant, high-availability applications. + Strong Agile experience, with a focus on CI/CD and modern development workflows. + Able to troubleshoot complex issues and lead others through technical problem-solving.
