Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityJob summary: Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, make production plans under guidance of Production Engineer and execute the plan efficiently to deliver the finished cabinets/ consoles etc as per customer requirements, following all processes, SOS, quality standards and productivity norms. Maintain safe work condition.
Core Activities: 

·        Production planning, scheduling under guidance of Production Engineer

·        Production preparation by reviewing all required inputs like Drawings, materials, tools, space, skills etc.

·        Material issuing & kitting in advance to ensure uninterrupted material flow to production floor.

·        Resources planning and allocation for the team of technicians.

·        Monitoring to deliver the cabinets on time.

·        Coordination with support functions to ensure timely availability of materials and other inputs

·        Drive high level of productivity within his/her team

·        Ensure Built In Quality

·        Ensure compliance to HSE and other company policies

·        Implement culture of continuous improvement through HA, Lean and Six Sigma techniques.

Qualification:

 

·        Engineering in Electrical / Electronic / Instrumentation / Mechanical discipline with a minimum of 7-8 years of experience in handling the control systems Assembly.

 

 

Knowledge & skills

 

·        Knowledge in defects identifying and root cause analysis

·        Knowledge of proper mfg .tool selections

·        Knowledge of GA, Power wiring , loop templates etc )

·        Good knowledge of mech. Structural assembly

·        Knowledge in workmanship standards

·        Knowledge in productivity techniques.

·        Knowledge in In-process inspection.

·        BIQ knowledge

·        Skills in coaching and developing team

·        Skills in Problem escalation

·        Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, PPT

 

Behavioral Skills

 

·        Planning of materials, Handling supply chain activities, Control of quality production, Meeting delivery deadlines, managing vendors & coordinating

·        job work with the in-house production. Coordinating with Stores & Logistics team.

·        Responsible for smooth delivery of control systems from Assembly.

·        Review the material procurement with the planning group and ensure that all material is made available for production and testing.

·        Review of BOM from correctness and completeness perspective. Work closely with the project team to Execute, Plan & deliver as per commitments.

·        Strong Customer Handling capabilities for projects & Customers.

·        Good command on Oral + Written communication in English.
