**Material Specialist (Receiving) – AD Systems – Everett, WA**
The Material Specialist (Receiving) will accurately and efficiently unload materials, verify quantities against paperwork and safely put product away into storage locations. This role will be responsible for tracking deliveries, troubleshooting order issues with suppliers, and facilitate the return of damaged products to vendors. The Material Specialist will be able to interact effectively and productively with co-workers while maintaining a safe and positive environment.
**What You Will Do:**
+ All receiving and shipping must be completed the day of the transaction
+ Receive products from vendor deliveries and unload trucks at the loading docks or from flatbed trailer
+ Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list
+ Unpack and examine incoming shipments and ensure they meet specifications
+ Reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
+ Update the product inventory as products are received and added to our inventory
+ Accurate labeling of product and putting away stock
+ Route items to various departments
+ Trace and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
+ Sort, count, identify, verify and track all material by utilizing our electronic warehouse management system to maintain accurate inventory records
+ Assist management in recycling material in the warehouse
+ Cooperate with representatives from other departments in the organization to provide warehouse information as requested
+ Perform regular material warehouse audits to ensure that material is undamaged and maintained neatly throughout the warehouse
+ Advise management of cycle count issues on a timely basis
+ Package products for return to vendors and fill out any RMA paperwork necessary prior to the shipment being picked up
+ Will operate forklift truck or use hand-truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and/or receiving to storage or work area.
+ Maintain clean and orderly warehouse
+ Follow safety rules to protect yourself, co-workers, equipment, and facilities. Report unsafe practices and situations
+ Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
**What You Need to Succeed:**
+ 2+ years’ warehouse/manufacturing experience, preferably with a focus on shipping or receiving.
+ Experience with receiving technology, including RF scanners and computer/ERP systems.
+ Must possess an understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work
+ This position may involve standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 40 pounds, pushing/pulling of carts/pallet jacks and operating forklifts.
+ Strong basic math and computer skills
**Working Environment**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly in an environment where heavy work is required and where moderate to loud noise occurs. The employee is in an assembly plant/warehouse environment that can be dusty. May be working around welding operations. Overhead work may be required. There is a frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, twist, bend, lift and move heavy objects (up to 70 pounds) and occasionally lift and move very heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday. Production aids such as tilting assembly tables, overhead cranes and forklifts can be used for these tasks. Personal protective equipment will be required and provided. In addition, the individual in this job will be working under time pressure and must be able to perform under stress. They must be able to work rapidly for long periods and to communicate and interact with others. They also must be able to perform multiple concurrent tasks, read and comprehend the material they read. The employee must be able to write, and problem solve. 40+ hours per week will typically be necessary to accomplish performance objectives and to provide satisfactory job presence and/or responsiveness

**Employment Type** : Full-time, hourly nonexempt
**Compensation:** This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experiences.
+ The expected Base Hourly Range: $18.17 - $30.24. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
