Marketing Project Manager
The Marketing Manager/Marketing Project Manager works as an interface between the corporate marketing and the Business Unit (BU) managing and overseeing the implementation and execution of all marketing activities related to precision medicine applications. This includes defining and managing BU specific marketing projects, ensuring BU´s needs are met, and the benefits and unique value propositions of the product are prioritized, ensuring corporate needs and strategies are communicated back to the BU and that product strategies align with broader corporate objections. This position reports to the Business Unit Head and is part of the Profiler Business Unit located in Basel (Switzerland) and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Developing engaging marketing stories in collaboration with BU scientists and product management and coordinating the creation of marketing collateral (product brochures, application notes, customer presentations, etc.) and scientific communication (abstracts, posters, etc.). + Promoting customer success stories through the creation of case studies, webinars, posters, etc. and maintaining a network of KOLs among our user community. + Planning, coordinating, and managing all BU specific marketing activities with corporate marketing. + Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand the value of our enterprise software solutions and translate this into marketing material highlighting business values. + Planning and managing marketing campaigns to generate quality leads through traditional (in-person) and digital channels (mailers, webinars, etc.). + Driving lead generation through marketing material and supporting the sales team’s lead nurturing activities. The essential requirements of the job include: + Degree, Masters, or Ph.D. in life or data science. + 5+ years’ experience with precision medicine / biomarker research in biopharma and familiarity with industry processes and challenges. + Proficiency in project management, experience with project management tools and processes. + Knowledge of enterprise software + Excellent writing and editing skills, with a proven track record of creating high-quality marketing content for different audiences and channels. + Ability to collaborate, network, and influence in a cross-functional environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + High degree of initiative, dedication to quality of work, attention to detail, and a hands-on attitude. + Interest in enterprise business development and sales, with an entrepreneurial mindset. + English to native/bilingual level (written and spoken).
