**Manufacturing Engineering Technician – Electronics**
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician Electronics is responsible for [insert high level overview of role]. As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician Electronics. The Manufacturing Engineering Technician Electronics role under direction from the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and working closely with the Manufacturing Engineering team will deliver technical support, troubleshooting expertise, and process improvement initiatives in a diverse and high mix electronics production environment. This role will also work closely with Maintenance Technicians, Manufacturing Operations, Materials, and Quality Assurance teams. The primary responsibility of this role will be to address issues and bottlenecks in daily manufacturing operations, perform root cause analysis allowing resolution of those issues, and assist in generating ideas and evaluating opportunities for overall production process improvement.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Have a self-motivated and customer-focused attitude
+ Have strong teamwork skills collaborating with various cross functional groups
+ Assist in seeking out and developing more efficient, higher quality alternatives to current manufacturing methods and processes
+ Drive troubleshooting of equipment and process failures through root cause analysis, isolation of variables, and strong technical problem-solving skills
+ Have strong technical writing skills facilitating effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and vendors when applicable
+ Be adaptable to engineering, scheduling, priority, and project scope changes to best serve customers and business needs
+ Continuously work to identify and implement safety and quality improvement opportunities
+ Create applicable reference documentation for stakeholders including operation and troubleshooting guidance documents
+ Maintain all applicable programs, data, diagrams, and parts lists in applicable computer system files/drives
**What You Need to Succeed:**
+ Have strong fundamental computer skills – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
+ Have entry level controls and automation skills – PLC, I/O, Vision etc.
+ Have entry level network communication skills
+ Have entry level programming experience – VB experience a plus
+ Have proficiency in mechanical design and reverse engineering skills
+ Have basic part drawing creation skills – 3D solid modeling experience a plus

**Compensation:** This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
+ The expected Base Hourly Range: min $24.37 -max $43.12 hourly rate. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
