Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Electrical/Controls Engineer to join our engineering team. This position offers hands-on experience supporting manufacturing engineering, automation, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn, collaborate across teams, and contribute to the development and optimization of manufacturing systems.
Key Responsibilities:Assist in the design and testing of electrical circuits, including both analog and digital systems.
Support PCB layout and design using industry-standard software tools.
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical systems and components.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for designs, processes, and test results.
Learn to program and configure programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Support the integration of control systems with hardware and software components.
Assist in the design, programming, and implementation of automated systems in manufacturing.
Gain experience in programming industrial robots and semi-automated equipment.
Learn and apply fundamental project management practices such as planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
Communicate effectively with production, maintenance, and operations teams.
Provide hands-on support to Maintenance and Operations as needed.
Scope & Complexity:This role supports a broad range of manufacturing and engineering functions, including:
Manufacturing engineering and equipment/tooling design
Plastic Injection Molding process troubleshooting and optimization
Process Engineering qualification, validation, and verification
Continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the company’s automation roadmap
The Entry-Level Electrical/Controls Engineer will play an active role in cross-functional teams and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by consistently seeking and proposing better solutions.
