Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


This position is full-time or part-time with a minimum of 30h/week.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

You develop the overarching strategy for our business line ‘Digital & Automation’ (D&A) in close coordination with the Head of Strategy and top management, and ensure its successful implementation. This involves supporting the annual D&A strategy cycle, incl. identification of concrete improvement areas and their operationalization.As a project manager you are responsible for leading selected initiatives with high strategic value for our business line, incl. their successful execution. You coordinate complex project teams, create convincing presentations and regularly present the results to the management team.You compile and maintain a relevant M&A landscape for D&A and support selected M&A processes as a project manager or strategy expert.You ensure a holistic view on the D&A portfolio, support the derivation and identification of optimization potential across all D&A products/platforms (e.g. identification of white spaces, internal portfolio synergies or make/buy/partner decisions) and promote their successful implementation.You develop fact-based insights about the current and future D&A portfolio, prepare these in concise visualizations and present the findings to the D&A management team on a regular basis.

Your qualifications and experience:

You hold a university degree, combined with many years of professional experience in strategy consulting, product and/or product portfolio management.You have extensive experience in the management of complex (multi-) project landscapes and in the management of diverse project teams.You have very good know-how in the software, IT & platform sector.Ideally, you already have a deep understanding of the D&A portfolio or equivalent experience within the digital portfolio of a multinational company.

Your attributes and skills:

You have a very good command of written and spoken English, ideally you also speak German.With your excellent communication skills, you are able to present complex topics in a compelling way at management level.You are used to work on many things at the same time and prioritize your topics as the situation requires.You have a great affinity for the use of digital tools and are familiar with online media.Your profile is rounded off by an independent, pragmatic and results-oriented way of working, as well as commitment and integrity.
