We are now recruiting for a new Digital Procurement Manager within our Procurement S&PD (Strategy & Performance Delivery) team, to be based in Krakow, Poland

 

Your purpose – 

 

As a member of Procurement S&PD leadership, your purpose will be broad and highly visible to deliver impact across PMI’s procurement organisation and beyond. As the leader for pioneering digital and technological improvements (AI, automation, etc), your team will support Category Management, Market Procurement, Procurement Operations and Procurement verticals such as Strategy & Governance, Sustainability, and PMO to achieve efficiencies that enable more value adding capacity.

You will collaborate internally across functions and with external partners to influence investment decisions and integrate new digital solutions that will directly impact PMI’s transformation

 

Your ‘day to day’ 

 

•    Lead the definition of the Digital & Analytics roadmap for Procurement together with Digital Strategy team, IT function and Procurement collaborators.
•    Act as the point of contact connecting Procurement organization with a range o internal and external partners.
•    For the approved roadmap, prepare and present business proposals to functional and regional leadership partners, influencing business decisions and inspiring change. Ensure programs meet all PBO requirements, and providing timely updates in case of scope, timing or any other project parameter change.
•    Own existing product landscape and products, including post launch developments, prioritization and planning of the changes in the existing systems, solution retirements, etc.
•    Prepare and maintain Digital Procurement budget, including project budgets and BAU costs.
•    Be responsible for the deployment of solutions according to the roadmap including aspects of adoption and change management, handling resources and maintaining standards.
•    Maintain a consistent awareness, and proactive involvement in external industry developments relating to Digital Procurement technology, highlighting and acting on opportunities for PMI.
•    Manage a team of Procurement Partners handling workload and standards, learning and development opportunities and inspiring a motivated and continuous improvement culture

 

Who we’re looking for 

 

•    University or College degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Automation, Supply Chain Management, Finance/Economics, or another relevant field.
•    Consistent track record of leading digital procurement portfolio, defining digital strategy and implementing new initiatives on a global or regional scale.
•    Validated experience of using impressive influencing and communication skills to build enduring partnerships, impact key business and budget decisions.
•    Proven impact and experience within a large procurement organisation (Sourcing, Category Management, Governance, Supplier Management, etc).
•    Financial acumen and experience in budget ownership.
•    Ability to effectively act with agility and dynamism within an ambiguous environment, using both analytical and critical thinking skills.
•    Team management experience, with ability to mentor, develop and empower procurement professionals.
•    Experience within an international organisation, ideally within FMCG/consumer goods sector or consultancy/service delivery setting.
•    Experienced in project management, and a solution and data driven mindset.
