Manager - Accredited Service Providers
**Job Summary:** Emerson Process management in South Africa is seeking the services of a highly experienced Manager of Accredited Services. The incumbent will be required to deliver and manage a set of processes and practices, which ensure that Emerson Flow Control Valves and associated equipment, is repaired and maintained by Accredited Service Providers. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Manage the overall Emerson ASP network in the region, focusing on proficiency development, performance improvement, and strategic growth. + Be the regional point of contact for matters related to the Flow Control Accredited Service Provider program. + Update and maintain existing ASP certifications, commercial, documentation, audit, and communication processes. + Identify and assess service partners to be selected, governed and supported within ASP selection strategy + Ensure that all ASPs deliver on the requirements as defined and detailed in the ASP procedures, maintain that these are clearly understood and implemented at all stages in the execution process. + Perform audits on ASP facilities according to specified guidelines to confirm alignment with ASP technical criteria for standards, processes, and procedures. + Provide governance and support of processes and procedures. Update and distribute technical information including maintaining up to date revisions. + Supervise and support ASP’s as required on the coordination/planning/execution of major plant turnarounds. + Responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment and ensuring all ASPs enforce to Emerson policies and QHSE requirements + Provide support all ASP’s to continuously improve in line with the developing product portfolio by: + Coordinating / providing technical service and product training including developing specific training plans. + Supporting the adoption of digital tools, Emerson standard processes, implementation, and measurement of KPI’s, connected services support. + Work collaboratively with all ASPs to support rigorous cadence communication and to fully use our breadth of product and expertise to collectively grow our businesses, whilst maintaining consistent rules of engagement. + Encourage our ASPs to operate with integrity, transparency and meet all Emerson standards regarding ethical behavior + Any other duties as assigned. **Who You Are?** + You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain productive and long-lasting relationships with accredited service providers and defined customers. + You establish clear responsibilities and processes for leading work and measuring results. + You connect the right people to accomplish goals. + You take constructive action to navigate difficulties or obstacles. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Requires specific experience appropriate to remedial, preventative, and predictive trouble shooting with valve and instrument-based maintenance practices and procedures; Digital field device / digital plant experience a plus + 7 years proven experience with leading a service operation and/or hands-on process plant supervision of repair, manufacture and field installation of instrument and valve products + PC Operating experience (business systems, Oracle, Outlook, Excel etc). **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + Educated to Degree level in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering qualification + Able to self-manage and make experienced-based decisions on the job + Clear and effective written and spoken communications in English with ability to deal with all levels in the organization + Prior experience in Emerson processes, procedures and standard methodologies. **Our Culture & Commitment to You!** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
