Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Faurecia Clarion Electronics Europe Division is designing, manufacturing, and selling high technology electronic devices to main European car constructors. We pioneer technology for mobility experience that matter to people.

We are looking for you as Maintenance Engineer for our plant located in Nagykáta, Hungary (50 km / 45min from Budapest). 

 

Main Mission:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of our equipment, machinery, and facilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance schedules. Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify potential issues before they lead to breakdowns. Perform root-cause analysis to eliminate recurring problems.Corrective Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and breakdowns promptly. Perform repairs, replacements, and modifications as necessary to minimize downtime and restore operations quickly.Continuous Improvement: Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to suggest and implement process improvements. Advise on technical specifications for new equipment or alterations to existing equipment. Coordinate equipment moves on the shop floor and assist with production layout improvements.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history. Prepare regular reports on equipment status, maintenance performance, and improvements. Develop and update maintenance procedures and manuals.Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities. Train and supervise maintenance technicians to ensure high standards of performance. Collaborate with suppliers and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.Your profile and competencies to succeed Educational Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Additional certifications in maintenance management or related technical areas are a plus.

 

Experience:Proven track record in implementing effective maintenance strategies in an industrial setting.Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is highly desirable.
