BorgWarner is currently looking for a “dynamic, results-driven” individual to join as Maintenance Technician to the Power Drive Systems Changnyeong (PDS CN). Key Accountabilities: + Preventive Maintenance and Inspection + Planned Maintenance + Improvement Maintenance + Participate in equipment improvement activities for safety, quality, and productivity + Corrective Maintenance + Respond to equipment failures and manage HITS history + Support subcontractors (if necessary) + New Equipment Management + Participate in discussions and inspections for new equipment specifications + Manage initial flow and request improvements for issues + Support installation and relocation of equipment (UT) + Equipment Calibration Management + Establish and conduct internal/external inspection and calibration plans + Equipment Drawing Management + LTRS Activities (Inspect and address air leakage) Education & Experience: + LTRS Activities (Inspect and address air leakage) + Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Control and Instrumentation, Automotive Engineering, or a related field + Possession of an Industrial Electrician Certificate or Electrician License is preferred + Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of electrification equipment (e.g., batteries, motors, inverters) + Hands-on experience with inspection, maintenance, and replacement of industrial electrical equipment + Knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems, and PLC maintenance + Preferred experience in maintaining automotive electrical systems (e.g., battery packs, drive motors, inverters) + Understanding of and ability to apply Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) procedures + Ability to read and interpret basic electrical diagrams (circuit diagrams, block diagrams) + Proficiency in MS Office; experience with facility management systems (e.g., SAP, PM, SCADA) is a plus + Practical experience with IATF 16949 and ISO 45001 standards is preferred + Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills + Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations (emergency recovery) + Excellent teamwork and communication skills + Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices What we believe + Inclusion - We value diversity in people, ideas, and experiences. + Integrity - We believe in transparency, authenticity, and depend on each other to deliver what we promise. + Excellence - We contribute to our developments by seeking knowledge and sharing information. + Responsibility - We care about our local communities and the global environment. + Collaboration - We are one BorgWarner.
