Effectively acting as an MTL on site, on behalf of the METL.Support execution of work through identification, planning, scheduling & execution of planned and unplanned maintenance.Ensure safe, efficient execution of maintenance activities in assigned area.Coach and mentor local work force.Implement structured maintenance system assigned production facilities.Implement good Work Management processes and adherence.
Key Accountabilities
Promotes a culture of open safety reporting and continuous improvement.Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.Accountable for the safe execution of maintenance activities in support of ROO’s standards, values, and behaviors.Accountable for effective and efficient asset maintenance, covering multi-discipline Preventative (PM) & Corrective (CM) maintenance activity.Owns and maintains a zero tolerance for overdue maintenance (SCE and Anomaly management) to reduce risk to production /personnel / plant and environment.Conducts daily Validation and Maintenance Planning meeting with station team, ensuring timely validation of new work.Drives compliance with the standardized Work Management process, including deferral and risk management.Maintains the required daily updates / progress in the O&M tracker and department specific daily reports.Maintains the ROO choke model for their assigned degassing station to ensure Vulnerabilities are understood and assessed to reduce risk and optimise production. Responsible for driving plant and equipment availability and supporting reliability improvement initiatives that are discovered as part of RCFA investigations, ensuring timely closure of any allocated station actions.Recommends execution optimization opportunities to the Maintenance Manager.Inputs and manages the 12wk Maint activity schedule – has decision rights for what enters 2 wk. execution window. Seeks nesting opportunities for all activities and ensure no activities at risk (red flag) will be carried into the schedule without prior agreement with FMM.Ensure change management (MOC) issues are identified and Engineering Queries (EQ’s) are raised in a timely manner to resolve and meet business objectives.Champion Continuous improvements (CI) by standardizing best practice activities across site and maintenance teams,optimize Maintenance Strategy.improvements to maintenance build.optimize Materials Look-up and Staging.Input and manage Maint BB for site TAR and Train outages.Coach and mentor Maintenance co-ordinator (MC) in the role having direct oversight and input into his individual training matrix/plan.
Experience, Qualifications & Key Skills
Above 15 Years experience in O&G industry (Preferable with IOC’s direct or contract)Technical degree or HNC certificate in engineering.Experience in previous Maint lead role (MTL / Maint Superintendent capacity)Practical exposure to production facilitiesAbility to identify and assess safety hazards.Leadership Skills – managing multi-discipline and multi-cultural workforce.Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skillsAbility to identify proper priorities of maintenance activities in a high activity environment.Driven to deliver continuous improvement.Strong bias for being proactive and getting resultsStrong understanding of Computerised maintenance management systems (CMSS – Maximo)Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling .
