As a Machinist Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to produce precision parts and components. You will work with a team of skilled machinists to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Danville, KY location.

\n

In this role, you will impact the production process by ensuring the efficient operation of machines and the timely delivery of high-quality products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nOperate and maintain machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts\nRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations\nPerform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and make necessary adjustments\nCollaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency\nFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Machinist\nProficiency in operating and maintaining machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications\nStrong attention to detail and quality orientation\n\n

\n\nTechnical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field\nExperience with CNC machining\nKnowledge of programming and setting up machines\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues\n\n
