M&D Digital Monitoring Leader for Digital Center of Excellence
Job Description SummaryThe Technical Lead for PT digital offering Center of Excellence – Digital CoE, will be responsible for providing technical sales support, work closely with the Digital CoE team and global PT-service organization to serve the global markets of Digital services and solutions on GE and non GE-IB.
The selected candidate will work hand in hand with the global product management, R&D, Engineering functions to align new offering within MEA region and global markets. The successful candidate is expected to work in harmony with other stakeholders including sales, tendering, engineering, FSE and PMs and customers to determine requirements, demo solutions, and promote the business value proposition to extend lifecycle and enhance customer assets reliability, security and experience.

Essential Responsibilities

Acts as expert consultant to guide customer in planning and development of digital servicesActs as pre-sales technical support to the commercial teams and customers, providing technical expertise during customer presentations, product and services demonstrations, evaluations, trainings and testing.Assists with technical development of proposals, assuring compliance to Customer's specifications by working closely with engineering, product and proposal managersLead and support product and digital services promotion, evaluation, demonstrations and testing to enhance customer interest on digital solutions.Provide an essential link from the customer to marketing, engineering and product development teamsSupport Commercial Segment Leaders and Product Line Leaders with definition and execution of the Product Line strategy, with particular emphasis on Digital services enhancement, New service Introductions as part of maintenance programs, and value propositionSupport the development of new leads and business development opportunities in the RegionIB management: coordinate with the regions and factories IB data integrity, investigate potential for new digital solutions.Prepare and present technical presentations, white papers, and case studies at industry conferences.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or universityExtensive years of relevant experience with minimum 3 years in Intelligent Electronic devices, Monitoring & Diagnostics, and power transmission equipment: GIS – AIS – PTR.
