As Logistics Inbound and Productivity Supervisor, you will be leading the total process excellence and continuous improvement agenda of Customer Service and Logistics team. These improvements include Process Efficiencies and Productivity Savings. The role will champion the continuous improvement governance which may include ideation, execution, and monitoring of projects.
You will execute domestic inbound operations to ensure our goods arrive on time at the lowest landed cost while ensuring compliance with regulations. To excel in this role, you will work collaboratively with business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution. Externally, you will be responsible for the operational management of third-party logistics vendors, freight forwarders and other stakeholders needed to perform and deliver the requirements of this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for activities such as documentation preparation (invoice, packing list), delivery management, shipment track and trace, claims management, invoice billing management, compliance execution (HSE, quality, risk management), tenders support, and third-party performance management.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Process management and continuous improvement
Assess and analyze processes, data points, and controls to determine sub-optimal performance, communicate findings clearly and effectively and make recommendations for improvement. Manage the existing continuous improvement work tracks of CS&L including but not limited to Gross Productivity workshops/DMS, VSM & Loss Analysis exercises, D&W and OTC audit CSAs, Billing mock audits, etc.
2. Need Gap Analysis & Project Management
Be on a constant lookout for CS&L business needs and work on the end-to-end solution of the same with the CS&L project lead & sponsor. This involves requirement gathering, functional specification document preparation, vendor selection (if needed), development, execution and deployment.
Liaise with both internal and external teams to provide best possible solution to business requirements. Objective is to bring in solutions, process change or providers to the CS&L stakeholders to help deliver the business need.
3. Inter-DCs Stocks Transfer (STAs)
- Plan Trucks/Vessels as per the STAs plan submitted by product supply
- Keeps a daily monitoring of schedule of deliveries/transfers between DCs
- Coordinates directly with Product Supply and FG warehouses on timing of product transfers including prioritization of containers
- Ensure efficient and full truck/containers utilization
4. Cost Efficiency
- Ensure Transportation cost is being met as per the set budget
- Ensure no port demurrages due to trucks availability or phasing of shipments
- Optimize transport cost via fully utilized shipments either via weight or volume
- Execute innovative solutions (e.g. Direct plant shipments to VISMIN, Freight Optimization, etc) that deliver YOY cost reduction without compromising service quality.
5. TPL Management
- Leads the selection, accreditation and manages effectively all Third Party Logistics provider to ensure achievement of all operational KPIs and operating on lowest cost possible.
- Drives/Co-designs with TPL towards developing continuous improvement programs which delivers Productivity Savings and Operational Efficiency.
- Manages & monitor operations via different DMS methods with TPLs (daily, weekly & monthly)

Simulate the different project ideation together with the corresponding cost-benefit and CapEx involvedRecommend the timing of each phase based on the feasibility analysisDrive Appropriation Request (AR) completion based on the recommended business case when CapEx is necessaryManage the overall project timeline and coordination with each project team members and deliverablesEnsure involvement of all necessary cross-functional stakeholdersDevelops project milestones as aligned to each stakeholder and governs completion of each by means of structured DMSRamp up out necessary processes as part of the change management from Inbound Sourcing, Demand & Supply Replenishment, Warehouse Management, Outbound Transportation and Reverse Logistics

At least 5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing &/or any experience in assistant managerial position preferably in FMCG companies.Knowledge on various systems like SAP ECC, TMS CWM, Power BI, Microsoft Tools such as Forms, SharePoint, etc.Good knowledge and trained in financial analysis and its principles.Has applied knowledge on IL6S tools used for problem solving & continuous improvement.Experience in outbound logistics or transport areaPractical knowledge of customs processes and documentationAbility to interpret dataCommunication skills written and oralSAP experience - Microsoft Office (Excel skill: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Sumif and etc. & PPT skill)Ability to work under pressureMore about this role
