Logistics Coordinator

The Transmission Business unit of Prysmian is at the forefront of innovation and adaptation to the market trend of the cable industry, embracing emphasis on renewable energy generation. Our cable solutions are the backbone of the power grids, paving the way for a more efficient, interconnected, and eco-conscious energy ecosystem.

Within the Transmission Business Unit, as part of the Supply Chain organization, the Logistics Coordinator orchestrates the supply chain to enable a flawless high voltage cable installation.

The Logistics Coordinator is executing the logistics coordination activities of a high voltage cable project.

Responsibility of the Logistics Coordinator are:

Coordination of multimodal, intermediate storage and last leg transport (these 3 areas are shared between other logistics coordinators – each expected to focus on certain area)translating of customer requirements into logistics solutionsclosely collaborate with (other parts of the) supply chain organization to align and implement work methods and best practicesCollaboration with project management and other key functionsOverseeing the key Subcontractors by maintaining the relationship and coordinating potential issuesReporting on project progress and subcontractor performanceManaging the interface with the customer regarding specifications of storage, transport, drum and other logistic topics
