The role Reporting to the Lead Region General Counsel, you will have the opportunity to work in a cross-functional team from day one. In your M&A role you will be providing legal and organizational support in domestic and cross-border corporate and M&A transactions throughout the M&A life cycle, including pre-transaction, structuring and transaction execution. In addition, you will be working as a generalist on a wide range of topics in the context of the post-merger integration of acquired targets, providing comprehensive legal advice as well as organizational support to the various members of the SoftwareOne post-merger integration teams with a focus on corporate, contract and commercial law. In your in-house role, you will also support our Legal Counsels in EMEA with their projects and daily work with a focus on drafting, reviewing and negotiating customer, supplier and partner contracts as well as tender documents. Manage multiple legal projects simultaneously, while maintaining high quality standards. Coordinate and monitor the work of external consultants. #LI-IW1 What we need to see from you 2+ years of post-qualification experience, gained in a law firm and/or an in-house corporate international environment, ideally with a background in the IT sector. Experience with M&A activities and contract negotiations. Excellent communication and drafting skills in English. A “can-do” and solution-oriented attitude. Good judgment and problem-solving skills, cross-functional thinking and the ability to work on own initiative, prioritize workloads and manage multiple deadlines. Pragmatic, entrepreneurial mind-set. Ability to interact and collaborate smoothly with people from diverse backgrounds, enjoy working in a team. Open, communicative and resistant personality. Eager to go the extra mile.
