Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing direct tax compliance and the process including preparation and filing of country tax returns for all applicable legal entities and supporting audits.Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.Impacts projects, processes and procedures in own field. The role operates with some autonomy, but is focused on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Activities require professional judgment, but may require more senior levels of guidance.Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field from an accredited institutionMinimum 5 years of experience in direct tax compliance, tax reporting, or related finance rolesStrong knowledge of corporate tax regulations, tax return preparation, and local filing requirements.Professional proficiency in English and Arabic, with the ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly in both languagesProficient in using tax compliance software and financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel)Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural, cross-functional team environmentStrong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications:

Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, CTA, or equivalent is preferred.Experience working in a multinational environment or with cross-border tax mattersStrong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tax matters to non-finance stakeholdersProficiency in project planning and execution, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated initiative, adaptability, and continuous improvement mindset
