Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly strategic Lead Area Sales Manager to drive profitable growth, represent divisional interests at a regional level, and ensure alignment with broader market and company objectives. This role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and coordination across multiple teams and markets.The work model for the role is: hybrid ; #LI-HybridThe role is contributing to the Motion / IEC Low-Voltage Motors division regionally. Main stakeholders are the lead Motion managers and countries.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tRegional Strategy & Leadership: Represent Divisional interests within the Regional Board, ensuring strategic direction is maintained across sales performance, EBITA, and growth planning. Collaborate with ASM teams to align regional objectives and convey insights both upwards and across the organization.•\tPerformance Monitoring & Optimization: Track and drive regional performance through strategic planning, reflecting Orders, Revenues, and Sales Unit Costs. Challenge and support improvement actions at the Motion level to address non-performance and execute corrective measures effectively.•\tFinancial & Market Execution: Oversee and implement the Go-to-Market strategy, optimize budget expectations, and maximize profitability by ensuring proper resource allocation and efficient pricing strategies within the regional sales structure.•\tCustomer & Channel Development: Strengthen relationships with key customers and partners, ensuring divisional agreements are met, and support channel expansion through strategic collaboration and acquisitions. Align messaging across sales units to reinforce divisional priorities and long-term success.

Qualifications for the role

\tMinimum 8-10 years of proven Sales experience in the electric motors area.\tProven leadership and decision-making experience.\tSolid product familiarity, as well as good understanding of pricing and cost models.\tAbility to communicate with multiple stakeholders at all levels across the organization.\tGood understanding of domain processes, strategy and sales activities.\tAbility to drive selections and identify appropriate customer solutions.\tGreat communication and networking skills.\tFluent English language skills.
