LCV NORTHCOM NTC: Payroll ClerkPosition Overview:
The Payroll Clerk is responsible for maintaining an accurate track of hours worked for payroll purposes. Assist supervisors/employees with any issues that arise concerning timesheets/payroll activities. Reviews timesheets to ensure employee’s time is accurately recorded and complete. Complies and generates timekeeping reports of payroll activity. Assesses current structure and suggests efficient enhancements to the organization.
Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within the field. Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
Applicable Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degreeExperience working with excel spreadsheets (intermediate level)Pay:
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40Basic Compensation: $ 27.30 per hourThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
