Job Summary

This role is a Laboratory Technician or Scientist who is going to work with Animal Nutrition Science. Main function will be carrying out experiments in the We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician/Scientist to join our Animal Nutrition Science team! This role is pivotal in conducting laboratory experiments and evaluating ingredients using in vitro lab models, which reflect the functionality of ingredients in monogastric animals, ruminants, and pets, focusing on enzyme biochemistry and functionality. The focus for the work will be our IFF ingredients, including enzymes, betaine, probiotics, postbiotics, prebiotics, and phytogenics.

As part of our R&D organization based in Brabrand, you will collaborate with a global team of biochemists and nutritionists dedicated to advancing animal nutrition. The start in the position would be preferably as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities:

Plan, execute and follow up on experiments to demonstrate mode of action and to compare different functional ingredients in animalsCharacterise enzymes for use in animal nutrition applicationsReview data and analytical results, prepare reports and visuals and communicate them to internal collaborators

Professional requirements:

Laboratory Technician with 3+ years of research experience, preferably in an industry research lab within biochemistry or a related field, OR ALTERNATIVELY an MSc in biochemistry or a related subject with 0–3 years of research experience, thriving in laboratory workExperience in setting up new methods and routinesAbility to work in a multicultural global environment, with day-to-day communication in English

Experience in enzymology, animal, human, or pet food nutrition, as well as protein characterization and/or HPLC, is preferred and considered an advantage.
