Job Responsibilities:

Position Overview
This position supports legal counsel on matters, transactions, initiatives, and projects relating to corporate or designated groups.

 

Job Responsibility
Legal Support for Ongoing Business Operations
-Draft, review and negotiate various commercial contracts and legal documents, including GTCs, supply agreement, NDAs, warranty agreement, commitment letter, legal letters, etc. 
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Purchase, Sales, Engineer, HR, Finance, etc) to provide timely and practical legal advice.
-Provide legal advice on commercial disputes and pre-disputes matters to mitigate risks.
-Assist in managing litigations, arbitration, and the bankruptcy filing.
-Maintain corporate governance of the legal entities in China.

 

Legal Research
-Update and monitor new legislation development relevant to the industry and business 
-Conduct legal research and analysis, provide proactive and business-oriented legal counseling as requested.

 

Others
-Perform other duties as required.

 

Qualifications
Knowledge and Education  
-LLM/master’s degree in law.
-Passed Bar exam is preferred.

 

Work Experience  
-At least 5 years of legal working experience, preferably in a multinational company or law firm.
