What the day will look like
Coordinator of Investment Consulting will support the North America IC Team, leading a team, participating in team meetings, and understanding the business by doing.
+ Responsible for managing an analyst team that is performing Investment Consulting activities of varying complexity for U.S. clients
+ Meet regularly with the U.S. leadership team regarding ongoing quarterly work for the Colombia team, as well as addressing any required trainings, new topics or processes, and errors in the reporting process
+ Coordinate tasks between the U.S. and the team in Colombia
+ Conduct training activities for analysts in Colombia
+ Gather feedback and deliver messaging on feedback and support to team members
+ Address team members' challenges, doubts, or discrepancies
+ Use technical, analytical, and communication skills to support consultants and clients in all aspects of data-related work
+ Balance financial account statements for clients’ investment portfolios
+ Audit rates of return and reconcile discrepancies between our performance system and those calculated by custodians and/or investment managers
+ Finalize financial information from multiple sources to prepare quarterly investment performance reports
+ Gather manager research documents pertinent to clients’ portfolios and bring them to the attention of senior client team members
+ Update Risk Analyzer with cash flows to produce defined benefit client dashboards
+ Respond to ad hoc requests from clients and/or consultants
+ Compose written interpretations of investment portfolio results and prepare discussion guides for client meetings
+ Meet with senior members of client teams to discuss relevant client matters and/or issues

Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Bachelor's degree (majors such as mathematics, statistics, finance, engineering, admin, or economics related are generally preferred)
+ Postgraduate studies are desirable
+ Experience related to investments, finance, risks, or funds of at least 5 years
+ Excellent technical and analytical skills, and detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work product
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office software, with a curiosity to learn new technologies as opportunities arise
+ Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Advanced level of English.
