Internship - R&D Processing Test Center + **Location** Billund, Denmark + **Job ID** 0000024783 + **Category** Administration & Facilities **Job Description** **Would you like to spend a semester working with R&D processes within Processing at the heart of the LEGO Group? Use your engineering skills to understand, optimize and implement processes in our Test Center where we qualify an test new decorated LEGO® bricks.** _You will join our Process Foundation team which is responsible for developing a solid process foundation for our processing productions and ensure that we can produce the decoration of new LEGO bricks with speed and efficiency. In the Testcenter we also supply quality guides for all of our production sites, and qualify new equipment for decorated elements._ **Core Responsibilities** + Assist in improving processes and ways of working in the Testcenter together with the team of operators and support functions. + Assist in Design, in implementing new processes and systems, to support planning processes and general efficiency in the area. + Support in ensuring delivery of tests of new equipment. **Play your part in our team succeeding** Processing is responsible for developing and manufacturing production equipment needed for processing of new LEGO Bricks with speed, effectiveness, and efficiency. This responsibility includes cooperating with Product Design organizations, other Engineering department as well as the global manufacturing sites. The organization is in total around 100 people working in different areas such as mechanical design, automation design and decoration development. The role as Intern is supporting our ability to realize and produce new element (LEGO Brick) designs, which for the R&D Processein Testcenter includes delivery of Master Samples (Quality guides), qualification tests needed for decorated novelty LEGO Bricks. Furthermore, the role is supporting our ability to continuously offer high service, knowledge, and support towards Production to make sure that they can run novelty productions without loops and issues. **Do you have what it takes?** + It is a prerequisite that you are enrolled in an educational institution, and the Internship must be meritorious as part of the education. + Minimum bachelor’s degree within Production Engineering, Process Engineering and Global Management and Manufacturing, or similar field. + Experiences in working with Lean + Experience in process understanding and mapping + Some experience in working with change management. + Flair for practical problem solving. + Danish at fluent level as this is a predominantly Danish speaking department + English at fluent level is required as this is the standard office language. + Preferable understanding of production machines and machine. + Preferable understanding of production processes. + Preferable knowledge of injection moulding and/or Pad printing technology.
