Major Purpose

Posting a very attractive role to design, build, deploy and manage next gen LAN, WIFI environment. With new technology roadmap, Extreme Networks with be LAN and WIFI solution. We're looking for highly talented network engineer with great hands-on experience on Extreme Networks + Cisco. Idle candidate will be with primary skillset with extreme network and has knowledge and experience with Cisco catalyst 9000 series LAN & WIFI. Below are the skills required, with expertise on Extreme networks is mandatory.

Extreme Networks :

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient network architectures leveraging Extreme Networks products such as Extreme Switching and Extreme Wireless solutions. Good understanding on Extreme Site engine and Cloud IQ solutions. Develop comprehensive network solutions that incorporate technologies like Fabric Connect for simplified network management and VXLAN for efficient virtualization. Lead the deployment of cutting-edge Extreme Networks hardware and configure advanced features such as stacking, VLANs, and dynamic routing protocols. Implement and optimize Extreme Wireless solutions, including access points, controllers, and cloud-driven management for seamless wireless connectivity. Utilize Extreme Analytics to monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance, addressing any bottlenecks or issues promptly.

Implement advanced features like Application Analytics and Control to enhance network visibility and ensure optimal performance for critical applications.

Provide advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution for complex network problems using tools like Extreme Management.

Implement and enforce security measures using Extreme Networks technologies such as Extreme Control for network access control (NAC) and role-based access.

Utilize Extreme Security features like threat intelligence integration and behavioral analysis to protect against evolving cybersecurity threats.

Required Skills-2 Collaborate with Extreme Networks technical support to diagnose and resolve escalated network issues efficiently. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures using Extreme Control Center. Generate regular reports on network performance, security, and capacity utilizing Extreme Analytics and reporting tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems administrators, security specialists, and application developers, to ensure seamless integration of Extreme Networks solutions. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior members of the network engineering team. Relevant industry certifications such as Extreme Networks Certified Professional (ECP) Switching/Wireless/Fabric is desirable. Required Skills-3 Cisco LAN, WIFI : Looking for Cisco LAN & Wireless expert with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to upgrade, configure, manage, and troubleshoot 9300 switches, 9500 switches and 9800 wireless controllers. Candidate must have performed EOL replenishment of legacy 3500, 4500 & 6500 to Cisco 9000 series catalyst switches. Must have hands-on experience in stacking 9300 and building 9500 into StackWise-virtual. Must have hands-on experience in upgrading IOS on 9300, 9500 & 9800 controllers. Experience in configuring access-point, wireless expansion and migration from AirOs to 9800. Hands-on experience with Cisco DNA – templets, upgrade, manage & troubleshoot it thorough DNA. Routing Protocols (OSPF & BGP) Switching ( AAA, Dot1X, HSRP, VRRP, VTP, VLAN, Ether Channels, LACP, Dot1Q, Inter-VLAN Routing on layer 2 and layer 3 Switches ) Cisco DNA Assurance   Having experience on Aruba / SilverPeak SD-WAN will be an added advantage.  Site to Site IPSEC VPN & GRE Tunnels Proven experience with troubleshooting and documenting large-scale networks Excellent analytical skills and strong desire to learn new technologies     Required Skills-4 Experience participating collaboratively in a team environment.   Self-driven to complete tasks and projects on time     Ability to work after hours and provide on-call support  2 + years leading technical projects, driving results that achieve business go
