Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add an Industrial Engineering Intern located in our Austin, TX site.

Reporting to the Business Excellence Sr. Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like:

Assist team with implementing statistical process controlsAssist team in 5S Tool deployment and Visual factory (Standard Process)Managing validation and test runs and scheduling Reviews with teamWorking on manufacturing line to identify equipment efficiencies and starndardizationFocusing on sustainability initiativesAttend Kaizen and/or Six Sigma project reviews, follow project tracking to completion and provide updates

Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

Junior or Senior student pursuing Industrial Engineering degreeProgramming skills, data coding and macros know-how; strongly desiredHighly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skillsPrevious internship experience a plus!

Internship Program Requirements:

Available to start on May 27th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignmentCurrently enrolled in 4-year accredited university3.0 minimum GPAJob CategoryIntern
