I&T Financial Analyst, Transformation Programs

As a financial analyst on the Finance I&T team, you will be responsible for tracking the financial performance of transformation programs, as well as providing financial support for the project teams involved. You will need to track program costs, understand and control these costs concerning the Business Case, make forecasts regularly, and perform end-of-month activities (entries, commitments, narratives, etc.). You will also be involved in tracking contract and requisition costs.  
 

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:  
 

Act as an analyst responsible for the financial monitoring of the program. 

Participate in determining project investments (Business Case).

Manage the project cost record and master file for detailed costs.

Transmit financial reports and recommendations to the project management team.

Support project managers in financial planning and cost monitoring.

Collaborate on month-end and financial planning processes (commitments, forecasts, budgets, risks, and opportunities) with the finance team.

Participate in the accounting for various contracts and project activities with the finance team. 

 

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:   
 

A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.

Three (3) to five (5) years of experience.

Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.

Outstanding analysis skills.

A strong desire to learn and maintain effective business processes.

A good sense of initiative.

Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of SAP would be an asset. 

This position will be based in Valcourt, Sherbrooke or Montreal.
