What You'll Do:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior HSE&S Professional II to lead our Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSE&S) activities. This role is crucial in ensuring our operations comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and ISO and corporate standards. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement in HSE&S performance, maintaining our community’s granted right to operate and preventing financial losses due to incidents. This position demands a proactive approach to safeguarding our plant and its operations.

 

Your responsibilities:

The HSE&S Senior Professional will oversee the monitoring of operations to ensure compliance with regulatory HSE&S requirements through compulsory inspections, internal audits, and adherence to duties imposed by regulators. This role involves developing and supporting the implementation of Process Hazard Analysis, health, safety, environment and process safety programs, providing training initiatives, and awareness conducting audits and ensuring plant procedures align with company policies and standards. The professional will keep senior management informed of changing HSE&S regulations that significantly impact the business, In this role you will issue reports as determined by company requirements. Additionally, the role requires maintaining documented HSE&S systems and fostering effective communication with internal managers, co-workers, and external contacts such as authorities, external emergency services, HSE&S consultants, neighboring factories, and the chemical association. The role typically reports to UK HSE Manager, and involves supervising HS&E support staff, employees, and contractors on site. This position requires an individual who can inspire and drive excellence in HSE&S practices across the organization.

 

 

 

What We're Looking For:

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in science or chemistry or equivalent, with additional qualifications in health, Safety and Environmental Management and process safety. A strong knowledge of HSE regulations and technical processes is essential, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE Key competencies include: execution, results orientation, open communication, building relationships
