HR SSC Manager

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The HR SSC Manager is responsible for the overall management of the HR/Payroll Shared Services Center France, which produces payroll, time management and legal payroll reporting in France for around 20 companies, 40 sites and 9,000 pay slips and supports with administrative HR processes and HR information systems.

The main missions of the role are:

Manage French HR/Payroll SSC

Manage and motivate the HR/Payroll SSC team (22 employees incl. 3 team leaders) in alignment with the objectives in order to promote maximum staff member benefit and effectiveness as well as overall functional productivity.Ensure functional efficiency and productivity through the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the processes.Monitor the performance of the HR/Payroll SSC using key indicatorsMonitor, review and evaluate existing procedures for efficiency of operations and adherence to FCP, and share best practices with the other HR/Payroll SSC.Give a strong focus to training, mentoring and evaluation of HR/Payroll SSC staff and promote career development.

 Produce payroll and time management in accordance with national, conventional, local and Group regulatory requirements

Oversee the timely finalization of monthly or other payroll processes and ensure the dissemination of their resultsManage monthly payroll processes internally and externallyTake responsibility for all procedures relating to payroll, from hiring to retirement of employees

Develop the scope of services and manage strong stakeholder relationships

Develop the scope and the efficiency of the HR/Payroll SSC following the GBS H2R transformation strategy.Ensure a strong relationship with all stakeholders, especially to the French HRD, the BG HRD, the Accounting and Finance Department, the IT Departments, the Internal Control Department and third parties (external auditors, service providers, etc.)Make a strong contribution to the deployment of any new IT system and to any modification of legal structures in the perimeterYour profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level: Business school or master's degree with specialization in Human Resources, Payroll or HRIS

Experience:

5 to 10 years of experience as a manager in the field of HR/ Payroll/ HRIS

Skills and competencies
