HR Generalist
Job Purpose

Responsible for various human resources duties with a payroll focus. Requires a broad knowledge of human resources functions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Include but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsible for weekly and semi-monthly payroll including confirmation, verification of codes, and overtime payments
Administration and submittal of annual matters related to payroll processing
Respond to day-to-day employee inquiries and requests
Generate HR analytical reports and metrics using HRIS system
Maintain HR database for employee lifecycle and accurate employee information in HRIS system
Support in various administrative responsibilities including the areas of onboarding, orientation, benefits, transfer, exit, and assignment changes.
Coordinate and comply with annual audits.
Administer human resources policies, procedures, and programs
Assist with recruitment effort for exempt, non-exempt, and temporary employees; conduct new-employee orientations.
Assist with the facility’s non-exempt attendance records. Prepares/issues/tracks corrective action for attendance violations.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Assist with the implementation, auditing, and training of benefit programs
FMLA & disability administration including wage calculations
Will be required to perform other HR duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload with a positive attitude
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of ADP, SAP, similar HRIS System, (1-3 years of experience)
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Extensive comprehension with word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs with emphasis on Microsoft office tools
Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization and properly handle confidential information
