HR Business Partner, Senior

Role Summary:


The Human Resources Business Partner (Human Resources Representative) will help to build a people-first culture that delivers business results. Provides expert HR leadership and consultation to both management and employees. Responsible for delivery and execution of strategy, programs, and policies, as well as providing day-to-day HR support within a Flowserve business unit.

Responsibilities:

Partners with and advise assigned leaders and key stakeholders by applying HR solutions to solve business problems.Serve as the HR Business Partner to assigned business leaders and their team driving operational success through corporate strategies.Provide end to end HR support, including organizational development, employee relations, labor relations, talent management, talent acquisition, performance management, development, coaching, employee engagement, and success planning activities.Exit interview processDirect and administer HR programs and processes efficiently and effectively.Partner with leaders to identify their high potential talent and support them in ensuring these individuals are set-up for continued success within Flowserve.Support managers in requisition workflow including accuracy/quality of position description and overall data accuracy.Partner with talent acquisition resources to fill open positions with high-quality candidates; support the hiring process via interviews, offer generation/approval, and escalation of hard-to-fill requisitions.Develop hiring manager capabilities in selection tools/processes to enable the best hiring decisions possible. Contribute to selection process for managerial and other key hiring decisions.Support integration of new workers, facilitate induction programs.Approve written employee actions including performance improvement plans and progressive disciplines; seek additional review from Center of Expertise and Legal as neededInvestigate grievances/complaints related to disciplinary actions, protect confidentiality and sensitivity of investigation details.Support site-level employee engagement initiatives including survey participation; drive employee and manager accountability for plans to monitor and improve engagement.Provide initial counsel to managers regarding compensation (e.g., pay adjustment, promotion, etc.) and benefits requests (e.g., expatriate relocation/perquisites); escalate to the appropriate HR and business leaders for final approval.Counsel Managers on deployment of Continuous Performance Management process and influence improved compliance and effectiveness.Ensure compliance with Performance Culture objectives, actively encouraging robust performance differentiation with supported managers.Responsible for all labor documentation processing in line with local labor requirements, involving outsourcing support.Conduct regular discussions / meeting with Union CounselGrievance addressal on case-to-case basisLong Term Settlement / Union Negotiations – with Union CounselHandle Integrated Management System (EMS / QMS)  / Customer Audit / Recertification AuditsHandling Training need identification /  Skill Matrix / Competency Matrix / Dept. Quality Objectives /  Risk Analysis /Co-ordination with Admin for Long Service Awards / Payroll / Monthly Updates for Workmen pay-elementsCo-ordinating with Govt authorities for PF / service additions /Knowledge of HR policies and practices, labor requirements, labor law.Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives exercising sound judgment and flexibility.Strong Interpersonal skills: ability to work cross functionally in a matrix organization.Contribute to a “people first” culture and inspire leaders to operate with an enterprise mindset.Uphold uncompromising safety and quality expectations.Enhance the HR brand within Flowserve with top quality work products and solutions that drive business results.Ensuring statutory compliance with related to Labor laws / Factories ActOther duties as assigned.


Requirement:

Ability to leverage HR data to support business partnering conversations.Previous experience in coaching and driving change management programs.Experience in working with unionized manufacturing and factory environments. Managing Legal & Statutory Compliance related to factory license / RC /  Contracts  etc.Experience in Workday.Ability to influence others on proposed courses of action, be firm but be diplomatic at the same time.Ability to travel as needed.MSW/MBA ( Law Degree  is added advantage ) in relevant field and 8+ years relevant experience
