Head of Sales Operations
**Job Description :** Job Title: Head of Sales Operations Level: L4 Reporting To: Sales Directo **r** **Role Purpose:** Building a clear sales strategy and plans for short, medium and long term to protect and grow GGBL volumes and market share, monitoring of sales performance, coordination of sales operations (OTIF), Coordination of all sales projects and Benchmarking against good sales practices across Diageo markets and other industries. **Responsibilities** **1. Capability Building:** + Responsible for coaching and development of the sales administrators towards ensuring the Sales Operations Management has both the capacity and capability to lead brilliant execution of sales administration. **2. Sales Data Management:** + Ensure availability of accurate all Sales reports timely for effective business decision making + Volume target computation + Ensure communication of sales targets and achievements to key collaborators – KDs, Sales staff, etc + Implement and resolve all Sales Incentive Plan issues to ensure achievement of sales targets + Effective management of all sales tools of trade and with mitigation plan + Ensure strict adherence of price Compliance **3. Sales Office Administration:** + Manage execution of all innovations + Organize and lead all Sales/KD Conferences + Ensure availability of fit for purpose regional Sales Offices + Ensure effective management of in touch and institute interventions to ensure maximum benefit + Lead and manage annual sales target planning and S&OP Volume performance report + Manage KDs contracts with GGBL - from conception to implementation + Manage and lead the Retail Loyalty Scheme + Manage and lead SLT/MLT cycle meetings + Own and manage the demand solutions report + Initiate, manage and lead all Capex procurement for the function + Manage the payment process to ensure prompt payment to all suppliers and contractors/contract staff + Own, manage and lead on all budget issues of the function to ensure efficient budget control + Ensure a robust and efficient Leave Management system of the function + Manage all administrative processes of the function - sales staff database, logistics, + Lead all communications of key sales initiatives to internal and external customers + Lead and handle all the GAR/COBC processes of the function to ensure continuous compliance - proper records management + Handle staff recruitment process – functional induction + Ensure efficient process customer product complaints. **4. Strategy** + Supervise current and emerging trends in the sales front end of the business, recommending and pushing through breakthrough strategy that affects sales execution + Deliver superior operational support to the sales team within budget + Coordinate all sales projects and ensuring that the desired results are achieved. + Promote a system of continuous improvement in the dept. + Ensure compliance with safety requirements at the work environment. **Core Work** + **Capability Building:** Developing and following through coaching and development plans for Sales Operations Team + **Sales Data Management:** Bringing value for Diageo by translating data into insightful information to aid decision making **.** + **Sales Office Administration:** Enabling brilliant execution by driving subject area in Team. + **Controls** : Business conduct fully in line with Diageo business practice and COBC guidelines. **Experience & Capabilities** **Functional;** **A strong track record in database management and administration (Finance, HR etc)** + Pays attention to detail + Strong capability to drive amazing relationships + Has advance appreciation for software applications **Leadership** + **Find Solution.
